Cuidado is a service for delivery fleets, operated by Logical Delivery LLC. It consists of the Cuidado portal for dispatchers and admins, the Cuidado driver app for Android, and the Cuidado Routes browser extension. This page says what each one reads, where that data goes, and what stays on your device.
The short version: a fleet's people, vehicles, routes and raw Netradyne data go only to that fleet's own Cuidado portal. One thing is shared between fleets on purpose: the hazard layer, the places on the road that drivers should be warned about, with no names, dates or fleet attached. We do not sell any of it or use it for advertising.
The Cuidado Routes browser extension
The extension has one purpose: to save the day's routes from Amazon Cortex for your fleet's Cuidado portal. It sends nothing until a dispatcher has allowed the portal's address in the browser.
What it reads, on logistics.amazon.com (Amazon Cortex):
- The day's route list for your station and each route's stops: route codes, the drivers assigned (names and Transporter IDs), trip counts, and for each stop its position and street address. Customer names and phone numbers are never read.
- Past days' route lists, once, to fill in trip counts for the weeks before the extension was installed.
- Your fleet's associates list, for the portal's roster: name, Transporter ID, email, personal phone, role and status. Photos, licence details and work phones are never read.
- The Amazon Safety Score pages for your stations, as Cortex shows them.
On idms.netradyne.com (Netradyne): the alerts report for your fleet. The session key the Netradyne page already holds is used once to fetch that report and kept in the page's memory only; it is never stored and never sent to Cuidado.
Where it goes: to your fleet's own Cuidado portal, over HTTPS, through the portal page you are signed in to, and nowhere else. The routes file is also saved on the dispatcher's computer, in Downloads/cuidado. When a run meets a problem, a short report of codes and counts (what step failed and how many routes were affected, never names or addresses) goes to Cuidado's own staff so they can fix the extension.
What stays in the browser: the name and time of the last file, whether the 9:15 daily run is on, what was last sent (so unchanged data is not sent twice), and the station and page layout it learned. No addresses or names are kept. Removing the extension removes all of it.
The extension loads no code from the internet and shows no advertising.
The Cuidado portal
The portal holds what the fleet gives it: routes and trips, Netradyne alerts, drivers' names, Transporter IDs and contact details, admins' and dispatchers' names and email addresses, issue reports and delivery notes from drivers, and the Amazon Safety Score as Amazon publishes it. Admins see only their own fleet. Email is used to invite admins and drivers and to send account messages, never for marketing.
What is shared between fleets
Hazards are shared so that every fleet's drivers are warned: a hazard's position, category (for example traffic light, stop sign, low clearance), direction, whether it came from a Netradyne hotspot, a driver's report or an admin, and a confidence level. Nothing else travels with it: never which fleet, driver or admin it came from, no dates, counts, notes, photos, custom warning text, routes, stop addresses, statistics or scorecards. A fleet's admin can mark any of its hazards "company only", and can hide another fleet's hazard from its own drivers.
The driver app
The app uses the phone's location while a driver is on a shift to warn about hotspots and hazards ahead. The app does not upload the route driven or a location history. It sends the fleet's portal: running totals during a shift (time on shift, distance, warnings given, hotspots passed, reports made); the van's current position once when the driver leaves the planned route, so the portal can send back the hazards on the new road; and the position a driver places on an issue report or a delivery note they choose to send. While a shift is on, the app also asks the portal for the hazards in a wide area around the van (about 55 km across), which tells the portal roughly where the van is, never the exact position. The app has no advertising and no third-party analytics.
Keeping and deleting
A fleet's data belongs to the fleet. Delivery notes are kept for the number of months set in the fleet's settings. A fleet admin can ask for an export or deletion at any time at the address below, and we answer within 30 days.
